Institute SIGURNOST with a team of competent experts help clients in performing professional activities of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection, in accordance with legal regulations and the initiative of international investors engaged in Montenegro.

Pursuant to the Law on Occupational Health and Safety, each employer is obliged to organize and perform professional work depending on the organization, nature and scope of the work process, the number of employees participating in the work process, the number of shifts, assessed risks and the number of units.

The employer can organize professional work in the following ways:

• To appoint a qualified professional himself;
• To organize a professional service for protection and health at work;
• To hire another legal entity that has the authority to perform professional activities.

Also, in accordance with the Law on Protection and Rescue, each employer is obliged to entrast the introduction of fire protection measures to a qualified professional or to hire an other legal entity registered for that activity.

The engagement of an authorized legal entity in the field of environmental protection is based primarily on the established practice of international financial institutions and is based as binding on all international projects. Activities in this area are regulated by laws in Montenegro.
